The most tedious game that Ive played in a decade. Heres a perfect example of a game that is singularly unsuited for a touch interface. Theres $7 and 3 hours of my life that Im never getting back.

Great game, until it froze me in chapter 7 where I cannot move, and then deleted all the saved games that I had. So I can restart, or delete? Piece of crap.
Quite possibly one of the "longest" point and click game adventures Ive ever played. But was well worth playing through. Loved every minute of it. I can only hope that its sequel Dreamfall: The Longest Journey gets released for iOS as well. Hopefully sometime soon :)
This game keeps crashing on my devices, would be great if I could actually play it
I liked this game at first, but some of the puzzles are ridiculously counterintuitive, its super easy to miss steps with no way to go back (save often in different save slots, kiddies!), and now Im stuck in chapter 2 at the priest. I have consulted online walkthroughs and I havent missed anything. This isnt the first snag/bug Ive run into and I refuse to restart the game YET AGAIN. Its incredibly frustrating and Im about ready to ask for a refund.
Good game i love it, but i Would like to play in french, isnt possible ......
This is one of a few games I never finished on the PC many years ago. To see it reappear in the iOS world, I was surprised and quite excited to revisit this. Initially hesitant to make the purchase, I was relieved when I felt comfortable with its navigation. And as old of a game as it is, it was also fault free on my iPad Mini 4 (9.2.1). This is not a game - this is a novel of a story that, chapter by chapter, unfolds before you within a game, if that makes any sense. It is indeed the Lonnnnngest story I could ever ask for...no shortage of fun. I wish other game developers would consider novel-like games like this. There is LOTS of dialogue and an unusual feel of reality even though the story takes place well into the future. A touch of profanity as well so its not for young kids. These voice actors are amazing to listen to. Overall, I dont think anything else comes close to TLJ in comparison. So Funcom and the writer Ragnar get my two thumbs up! May the Balance do its magic and bring the sequel Dreamfall to iOS.
I played hundres of that kinda games and thats the worst of them
Something is wrong with the chat screen, i cant seem to manage it on the first chat with priest, its stuck.
Beloved game
Please unlock screen orientation! Anyway, a great chance to revisit the original adventure before playing Dreamfall Chapters.
The most beautiful and interesting quest Ive ever played. Perfect story! Best dialogs ever! Waiting for Dreamfall on IOS very much! Ragnar - you are the best!!
When I saw the remastered version of this game I immediately wanted to play it, and I did so for a couple of days until I got stuck by a bug at the beginning of the temple sequence. When talking with the monk it was impossible at first to accede to the full dialogue options, then after trying to restart the game lots of times, the dialogue disappeared completely... It would be lovely to be able to play the game till the end, can we hope in some updates and bug fixes?! Device used: latest version of wii fi IPad (16 G).
This is such a great game, and it plays fantastically well on the iPad. A trip down memory lane for sure, and it holds up really well for a fifteen year old game.
I was annoyed with and disliking this game even before I was stuck in a conversational loop with Charlie at the cafe. Wasted the money I paid for this game. Why doesnt Apple have a way to get you money back.
One of the best games I remember from when I was a kid.
Controls on this game are awful. Dont waste your money. New Ipad and certain areas of the game require a pc to complete. Not a good game for Ipad. Other reviews are great...guessing they did not use a tablet.
This game has some serious UI issues. For one, in the original game you could mouse over objects to see if they were interactive. This translates poorly to the touchscreen interface. The only way to know which objects you can interact with is to touch every object on the screen. This gets old quickly. After 2 chapters my fingertips were aching. Also, you are not told that you have to swipe left on dialogues to see more dialogue options. I thought the game had a bug that was trapping me in dialogue sequences. It took about an hour to figure out how to display the next set of dialogues so I could get past the temple scene. You are also not told how to combine inventory items. I had to figure that out too and it took a long time because getting an item to drop onto another one requires extremely precise placement. And oh my god why do the characters deliver dialogue so... Slowly..?and that is not even getting into the incredibly flat plot and stereotypes throughput. You can tell this game comes from the 90s because there is a lot of stereotypical banter that is not acceptable today. Most of the "adventure" in this game comes from figuring out the user interface.
The remaster of the game looks great. Audio quality was surprisingly nice, too. So far I am enjoying the story (3 hours in) Glad there are still games I can play smoothly on my iPad 2.
One of my favorite adventure games back in the day. Graphics look a little dated today but art style is still solid. UI could use some tweaks and I cant rotate view. ( I like to play with the home button to the left so screen cover folds back on the top)
