If you enjoy traditional point and click adventure games and have not had the chance to play The Longest Journey yet, I highly recommend this version. This is the full game with original soundtrack and dialog that has been adapted for the touch screen interface.
Contrary to some previous reviews, I did not encounter any bugs. It is, however, sometimes tricky to click on some of the smaller elements (e.g. Crow), particularly when trying to drag an inventory item to use it on something small on screen. I imagine this would be less of an issue on tablets, or the iPhone 6 Plus.
Note, if you want to hunt for interactive spots you can keep your finger on the screen and drag it back and forth (similar to the PC version where you would swipe your mouse back and forth on the screen to search around). More modern adventure games tend to have a way to highlight interactive points, but this one does not. As mentioned in my title, this is strictly a conversion of the original game to a new platform.
There are plenty of reviews of the original game online, so read a few of those for info on the game play. Expect to spend a long time to complete it, even if you do use a walkthrough to get past some of the more obtuse puzzles. I believe it is worth it for the story and fantastical worlds you get to explore (and even discounting the nostalgia factor, it is the best of the three in the series).
