The longest dialogue
Here are the pros and cons of the game according to me...
Pros
-a point and click adventure--yay!
-the story is interesting
-puzzles were decent
Places to improve
-the user interface is not intuitive, there should be a user guide. I got stuck on dialogue boxes several times before scouring the Internet and other reviews to determine that you had to swipe right to left to see the next series of text options. Also read online that you can double click to run and hold your finger down as you explore the screen for options. Also it would be helpful if screen exits were clickable by an arrow--that was annoying when you thought she was exiting just to stop somewhere nearby.
-I guess I shouldve known by the game title but the game is really unnecessarily longer than it needed to be. So much dialogue and reading! I am less of a story person when it comes to games, and more of a puzzle solver. The story was interesting, but the Dialogue was disproportionately longer than game play.
-you have to wait FORever for April to travel from screen to screen, even when shes running...why??? And sometimes there are screens she has to travel through for no reason
-I am not a fan of foul language in a game--would definitely not play this with sound around my kids. The bad language limits the playable audience--and sounds forced.
-some of the puzzles were random (like tying stuff to an inflatable duck)--but hey--they were puzzles!
