UI and Other Problems Fade Out a Star

The finger and the loss of indicators of an object to explore reduces my enjoyment of this sweet game. Im stuck in Chapter 5 trying to figure out to get the colored vial ingredients into the cauldron, despite walkthroughs created for the PC IU. I need specific details for the Remastered IPhone game. Help!
