Remastered? Hardly.
The Longest Journey is one of the greatest games of all time, but this "remastered" version is hardly that. As a mobile port, its sloppy, and suffers from some terrible UI decisions. The cursor is gone, so its much more difficult to find objects you can interact with - particularly since many smaller items will be obscured by your finger. Dragging items in the inventory is quirky and unreliable, and again, the items no longer glow when you hover over an item or place that it can interact with. This makes many puzzles infinitely more frustrating if you already know the solutions, and potentially impossible if you dont. Worse, dialog options arent listed in a vertical, scrollable list as youd expect... instead if there are more than 3 options, you have to swipe left/right to see more, but there isnt any indicator or even animation that lets you know thats how it works. Speaking of dialog, it appears that a good chunk has been removed.
